In accordance with UK and Scottish government directives to deal with the coronavirus outbreak, and the recent announcement that all guest accommodation has been closed down in Scotland, it is with deep regret that I have to confirm that our holiday cottages are now closed to the public for the foreseeable future.

We are a small business and this is not easy for us.

There are however two things you can do to make things much easier:
1. If you want to cancel your booking, you may very well have travel insurance that will cover the stay. You may have your own separate travel insurance, or be covered by your bank account benefits, and most credit card providers also include travel insurance as a standard benefit. Please check your policy now, and if you have cover, make a claim. We will happily provide an invoice or other evidence to support your claim.

2. The best thing you can do for us, is not to cancel, but merely to postpone. For bookings during this closure period, we would be delighted to allow guests to postpone their visit either to later in 2020, or to the 2021 season. Please don’t hesitate to contact us.

These are unsettling and uncertain times for us all and it has been hugely comforting to hear that many of our guests have offered to postpone and this is a great way to support us and the local community. We hope to welcome you soon so that you be able to come and enjoy this beautiful part of Scotland and all that Kintyre has to offer.

All the very best, and stay safe
